We are reviewing why people are unable to use web addresses for images. The reasons are vast and mysterious and we hope to have this resolved when LostinJapan gets back from her vacation ;)

That means she's not allowed to look into until she's home and recovered from trip.

all you have to do is websitelinkhere.com ...that might be the problem, because it works fine for me.

Perhaps to clarify, use websites for images for use as avatars or profile pics.

ah...you would need to change the size and file size...so no fix there unless you up how much people can have for file size and size of the picture/gif. Or an admin can do this by taking the info for the picture and manually doing it through the ACP, I think that's how I got my ava in :D

No Yeti.

Upload one of your avatars to some site like photobucket. Then grab the link, and try to upload it from the site, rather than from your computer.

If the problem hasn't been solved by the 20th, I'll look into it then.

Just got back to the hotel from Dreamworld and about to head to Benihana's for dinner. :D

wait, you live in Japan, why would you go to a Benihanas? Yeah, theyre good but it seems rather pricey when you can get the authentic thing easy enough

We went to Benihana's for the show. And Jules is correct, we live in Japan but we're in Australia right now.

Thats what I thought, but I still found it odd you would go to a Japanese restaurant when you live in Japan. that being said, the show is pretty good there if you get a decent chef so thats udnerstandable

Well I have to admit it was also kind of a curiosity about how things are done in Australia.

To that end, we've also tried...

Montezuma's Mexican food - good
Benihana's Japanese food -very good but missing some of the more traditional foods I've come to expect
McDonald's McCafe - better than the US, not as good as Japan's
Hungry Jack's - owned by Burger King and pretty much equivalent in quality
Cav's Steakhouse - raved about on the internet and various info sites (like tripadvisor). Good but not as 'great' as I was expecting
Hard Rock Gold Coast - typical for a Hard Rock
KFC - worse than Japan's and the US's
Baskin Robbin's - exactly like the US, not as good as Japan's

Also had Chinese with Drak (sorry don't remember the name of the place) and a few other things. Speaking of, is time for dinner. :D

Except for McD's and KFC I haven't heard of any of those.
