First off, sorry if this offends anyone but I'm REALLY ticked off right now.

Okay, so I downloaded new drivers a few days ago, and I've had nothing but crashing, freezing and display glitch SHIT since I did.

I've spent the last few days dealing with trying to fix this problem. Evidently I'm not alone...there are a TON of posts on the nVidia forums about version 175.16 being buggy.

DO NOT update your nVidia drivers for the GeForce 7, 8 or 9 Series UNTIL THOSE FUCKERS RELEASE A NEW VERSION or you might run into the same problems I did.

I finally 'fixed' it by loading in under Safe Mode/Administrator Account, uninstalling the drivers and software, rebooting and reinstalling from my CD.

Fuckers.

I hate software that gets released when its obviously not ready for prime time. Microshaft is notorious for this

Yeah, I play a game that's like that. The game's name kinda slipped my mind, but the developers of it seem to release patches and updates that haven't been tested. :lolhit:

You are assuming I could do anything in Windows without it crashing on me. :(

Just booting up it would freeze. :banghead2:

I've never had any problems with my Nvidia card in my laptop. Well, after I installed some newer drivers anyway. The ones that came with the computer would occasionally kick me back to desktop and tell me I had a memory leak. But after I updated, it's been smooth sailing.

I was having some graphics related problems for a few weeks where the graphics would freeze up on me, even as I could hear the rest of the game continuing on.

At some point, it seems to have fixed itself whether it was from one of the DDO updates or one of my system's automatic updates...
