I know I'm doing something wrong here .. After I did up the damage charts for Greensteel weapons, I got to thinking about how to calculate TWF dps.. The upshot of it all is that I think I'm doing something wrong..

I used 83's damage mod since it's what I had plugged in already on my spreadsheet, so that's where the +53 and +42/+36 numbers come from.

THF damage:
GS GA @5 swings
3d6 + 53
63.5*4 = 254 normal
190.5*1 = 190.5 crits
444.5 damage in an attack sequence

TWF
GS DA @5 swings (9 hooks)
2d8 +42 (*4)
2d8 +36 (*3)
51*5 + 45*4 = 339 normal
(51*3)+(45*3) = 288 crits
627 damage in an attack sequence

TWF
GS Khopesh @5 swings (9 hooks)
1d10 +42 (*3)
1d10 +36 (*2)
52.5*3 + 46.5*2 = 349 normal
(52.5*3)*2+(46.5*3)*2 = 594 crits
943.5 damage in an attack sequence

According to this, the improvements to glancing blows needs to be significant to catch THF up and the Daxe is still WAAAY behind the Khopesh when it comes to TWF..

Let me try to help out...there are some math errors I think.

The DWA will still outperform the kopesh when added correctly but I am not sure if the total swings is still right so please take a quick look at that and then update if needed.

(51*3)+(45*3) = 288 crits (this assumes 1 crit for each dwa)
627 damage in an attack sequence (s/b total of 723)

TWF
GS Khopesh @5 swings (9 hooks)
1d10 +42 (*3)
1d10 +36 (*2)
52.5*3 + 46.5*2 = 349 normal (this s/b 47.5*3=141.5 + 41.5*2=83 totals 224.5) totals 5 swings
(52.5*3)*2+(46.5*3)*2 = 594 crits (this s/b 47.5*3*2=283 + 41.5*3*2=166 for a total of 449) totals 4 crits (2 each per hand)
943.5 damage in an attack sequence (this s/b total of 673.5 damage)

According to this, the improvements to glancing blows needs to be significant to catch THF up and the Daxe is still WAAAY behind the Khopesh when it comes to TWF..
