Ok, I admit I really have no clue about building a good paladin. So, I basically just threw this build together.

My goal is basically to make a paladin that's pretty survivable and focuses on smites. I think I might splash 2 levels of fighter for the bonus feats, but that's not in this build.

Anyway, some advice would be good. :)

If you want to focus on smites you need more CHA, your CHA modifier directly affects your to-hit and damage with smiting so you want it at at least 16 if not 17-18 at level 1. For a Paladin INT is fairly useless so drop that back to 10. I wouldnt neccesarily put all 3 of your level increase points into STR either, at most 2 to bring it to 16, Tomine only started with a 14 STR and its at 22 (Titan belt, +1 Tome, and 1 level) now but her smites do standard 60-70 damage (140-200 on a crit depending on her weapon multiplier) what she does have is about 24 CHA which isnt nearly high enough if you want to focus on smiting. I should point out your actually missing your lvl 16 ability raise to so you might want to fix that.

Also why are you a halfling? Go either Elf/Drow for the CHA bonus or human for the versatility bonus but halfling really doesnt help you here. A paladin is a natural healer so the Dragonmark wont do much but waste a lot of feats, something Pallys dont exactly have much of.

Tomine's right about the Int there ..

The only real reason to have it that high is to be able to use a +1 tome and fit in CE. However, CE and Divine Favor don't really go well together.

If you want the Int for the skill points, drop it to 10 and go human - the end result is the same.

Cold,

Is smiting the only thing U want to focus on...or is AC, saves, or survivability also something U want in the build?

I can make some suggestions but I wanted to know what was important before I did...

Basically, the idea is to focus on smites, but not to the exclusion of everything. Generally, I prefer balanced builds over min/max. Moderate AC, HP, and Saves are all important too. I'd probably list them in this order of importance.

Smites
AC
Saves
HP
