Sorry to hear of your troubles. I do understand your frustration and the almost need to be guilded on this server to get content done regularly.

As guild leader for IFS I would welcome you to run with us to see if you think we would be a good fit. We are online at odd hours and some not even every day.

Our play style is casual with quite a bit of joking going on, but the bottom line is that we are here to have fun while playing a game.

Whether you join us or any guild, I always recommend running with the players and officers to see if their playstyle fits yours. While we may not be raid and high end content focused, we do have some very skilled players, I've been playing for close to 2 years, and I know of at least one other that has been playing since beta.

LIES!

You speak no Engrish!! :D

Sver, I can't speak for GSI but yourself, Kruggar, and Strahdbr were always a welcome sight in a party I was involved with. If I'm free to join you in whatever mayhem you guys cook up, I'm there.

Hey Guys, I just joined up with a new guild myself, Inferus Sus. So far everyone seems to be really cool and knowledgeable. Regular Raid schedule and what not... seems to be maybe what you are looking for.

Check it out and see what you think. Always looking for good players to run with.

Bah Jundak! I speak English and now I'm learning Spanish too! :D

Well, I can't speak for the others, but:

1) I'm a friend of Strahdbr, Rhilune, Chapadaum and Noeh (know 2 in RL), and they're good focused players. Could be a good for any guild that have a schedule raid run.

2) Dunno if Kruggar will keep on Maelstrom, I think will.

3) I could rant a little here, but I'm more calm and slow that before, think is the 30 years old... Just would understand whats happen from Maelstrom's Leader perspective. Maybe I could complain...

I'll keep on Wicked with my chars, Strahd. could not be focus on hardcore end raid as I'm, but is the guild that I really like. But I keep loving you all :P

Ya, it's funny... for the longest time I heard that Inferus Sus was full of a bunch of brat kids that hang out in the lobster and PVP all day.

But in the past while I've run with a number of them and they were not kids and they were quite good.

GL and I hope it's a good fit wit ya bro.

Actually it's more like middle-aged drunks that are unsatisfied with their lives and team up on lower lvls in the lobster all day to make themselves feel important. When they aren't in the lobster they're either leveling up new pvp builds, getting new gear for their pvp builds, joining PuGs and bragging about how great they are because they beat up someone in pvp, or just being all-around jackasses.

...
Did I mention I don't get along with most of the officers in IS? :D

Yeah, they're all-right skillwise, but most if not all of their officers have this idea that if you ever need the support of someone in the team you're gimp, and that potions take care of everything so who needs someone with healing abilities? So, in the event that you group with a member of IS, feel free to let them bleed out from incap .

So how do you really feel Xaearth?

There are I guess advantages about being moderately xenophobic when it comes to who I play with. I have heard the horror stories but never experienced it with these guys.

Core of Legends in the Reaver on the other hand. UGH. I never ever learn when it comes to those guys.

Core of Legends in the Reaver on the other hand. UGH. I never ever learn when it comes to those guys.

Basically:
1) I avoid IS sponsored raids. They're really easy to spot. Generally there's a character with the name of Moose in it and the lfm has some kind of derogatory comment ("OMFG Where's all the gimp heal nannies when you need them?" - over 70% of IS clerics are not healers to the point of refusing to break out a wand to bring someone back from incap).
2) I avoid any group where the only healer is an IS cleric (see note in parentheses for 1).
3) I hate with a passion Durrack and Moose (both officers of IS, and probably the most active ones). They're overconfident elitist asses who think they're the best players on the server just because they can double-team people in the lobster pit.
3a) Durrack is also the primary reason IS has little to no healers in their guild... his "uber" battlecleric builds made for pvp are what the majority of clerics in IS are running. He's also the reason those classes in IS that can heal don't; his attitude, one that he proclaims loudly, is that no one should ever need a healer in any circumstance because we can buy pots. He feels that in the case that you can't use a pot (incap)... well you're obviously gimp. He also feels very strongly against Divine Vitality. He feels that everyone should be able to handle their own buffs, so the whole idea of carrying DV to refill up the wizzy/sorc who resisted the whole party instead of those resists coming out of your own sp pool is garbage. It's not like it should matter whether or not your party is resisted to a cleric, since their sp is only for divine favor, divine power, and blade barrier anyways .
3b) Why do I hate Moose? Enough said (http://forums.ddo.com/showthread.php?t=137275&highlight=gimp).

Now, don't get me wrong. I don't hate the entire IS guild because of those two officers.
I hate the majority of the IS guild because they agree with and have adopted the views of those two officers.

PS: For a little more background between me and Durrack, every time I've grouped with him (a total of 3 times) he was on one of his battleclerics and I was on Jaen (my str-based dwarven ranger). Every single time, not 5 minutes into the quest he zerged off, overaggroed to the point that it was quite clear he would die, and I, being the nice-guy team-player that I am, rushed up to help him by drawing some of the aggro off. So I'm kiting some of the excess aggro off, his fellow IS buddies catch up to him, help him kill what he's fighting, then he immediately rushes off, leaving me to fend for myself with the other 1 or 2 PuGs that saw what happened. Of course, a heal or even a wand-whip would've been a nice gesture (as I was kiting and potting/wanding myself) considering I saved his pathetic arse, but the very least I expected of the bastard was to help finish off the aggro THAT HE PULLED. Instead, he and his guild members left me and the other PuG to fight the mobs by ourselves ... Did I mention I love my Emerald Claw Pendant? :D
And no, it wasn't like he thought I was one of those rangers just running around in circles kiting and shooting. It was quite clear that I joined the fight with both axes swinging and, trying to avoid that perception, I purposely did not switch to bow when I was kiting, I pulled out a shield for the extra AC.

Funny how our experiences are so different.

I receive regular hellos / tells from Durrack and he and the other officers are always willing to jump onto one of my raids to help out, even if they have to play Clerics.

They are definitely not the best in the game... by far, but they are closer to the best than the worst and I'm always happy to have them on team.

I guess that since the PVP / tavern brawls hold little interest for me, I have not witnessed them messing around in there.

Oh well... I'm sure not everyone loves Legion folks.

haha

^ Just quoting myself because I edited it in after you posted :D.

Edit: Also, all of my information on Durrack's attitude towards healing have come from extensive research in the form of reading his bio and questioning him about it.
Seriously... he puts all that crap in his bio.

Anyways, Xan asked, so there's your answer :D.
