Brand new players in beta

The beta forums are crawling with brand new players. What's interesting is that they are created as trial users, with ten day access to the regular servers, and still have to enter the beta code in billing.

Borro immediately coined the term "freeloader" for the new players, which will do, no doubt, wonders for the relationship between legacy "VIPs" and new F2P players. Nevertheless I am too amused by it to abandon it. :rolleyes:

I have 3 buddies that got in on the Beta... Asti, Niobium, Darque are their Normal Tags.. have no Idea what they will be in game. But why would the VIP's bang on the F2P peeps... It's server population, run some quests and have some fun... wtf?

Whoa, back off tiger. If I wasn't clear I was amused by Boar's post, and I clearly thought it had a negative connotation. Maybe it would help if I added more smilies to the OP?

And Moorewr, I'm a bit concerned about people treating the newbs bad... we need them to keep the game going... And even if peeps don't contribute to the bashing and demoralizing of the newbs... If you sit by and watch it, or in this case find it entertaining, then you are also part of the problem.
