Um, Tuesday?
No, Monday. Every day between Sunday and Friday is a Monday.
Friday's not a Monday because it means that the next day is also not a Monday. Saturday and Sunday are not Mondays because it's the weekend (unless you work on Saturday and/or Sunday, in which case, they are Mondays).
Any day can be Monday if you'd rather do anything but go to work.

You just totally confused me. I work Tuesday nights to Saturday mornings. Does that mean I get an extra Monday? :kick:

I think this is what your week is like: Monday, Tuesday, Tuesday, Tuesday, Tuesday, Saturday, Sunday
Monday: No work
Tuesday: Start working
Wednesay: Work
Thursday: Work
Friday: Work
Saturday: Stop working
Sunday: No work
Any day you start or continue working is a Monday (or your start working day repeated) and any day you stop working is a Friday (or your stop working day).

perhaps this is the dev's way of limiting the number of little monks on day 1?

Well good, they should find the horrible hole created by the new content, bring it down, re-fix it and have things up and running with a few quests disabled by the time I get home.

It is no longer possible to use smiting/banishing/etc. ranged weapons on certain monsters before the monsters can see you.
What does this mean? I can't banish a fiendish trog warlord before he notices me? That even if I crit on the first shot and the banish effect should work that he won't vanish? Or this is a fix for some quests where if you banish a mob before it activates all its triggers the quest breaks?
So help me if this is another example of Turbine's enforcing their perceived concept of fun on me..

I believe that it means no more smiting/banishing monsters before they're activated
the 4 iron golems in the Titan and the scorpions in Rainbow jump out as examples.

That I might accept, but that's not what the release notes say.
An unfortunate choice of words there, perhaps?

Turbine is notorious for using vague wording in their patch notes .. Perhaps they think it makes them more 'vast and mysterious' or some such BS.

I think they do it so it gives them more leeway to change other things without people complaining, then again they are also notorious for unannounced changes so maybe not

Actually, to be fair, it's probably because they don't want to alert people to these exploits and give people ideas.

Warning in another unannounce change, Lord Squishypants at the end of Twilight Forge is apparently now wearing an asbestos suit.
No more firewalls. :(

I thought the golems in the titan were immune to banishing. But yeah that would seem to directed squarely at the scorps in Rainbow. It is a bit odd that you could banish them early, but only with a ranged weapon.
... guess the price of banishing crossbows will drop even lower now.

Eh, that was always rather cheap anyway. And it's not like they are hard to kill.

I think you mean smite Vic, not banish. As for Lord Squiggly, do we know if this is a Shadow of Vol asbestos suit or a normal fire resist? Either way you can still set up some nice BB and even an Acid fog to wear him down, he doesnt have that many HP and seriously when we could kill the boss of the pre-raid in under 5 seconds perhaps something needed to be changed

Another sucker punch to those that run the raids at the actual level of the damn raid.
Mod 8: Way of the Fighter
All fighters with more that 9 levels will recieve a 1 time "coin" to respec their fighter levels for something useful. We figure this is easier than giving them any PrC through enhancemetns.
All red names and purple names will be immune to fire, cold, and electric.
Also red names & purple names on normal difficulty will have moderate Fort. and on hard and elite settings heavy Fort.
All "raid boss" rooms will be like being on the plane of Dulgoth (or whatever the plane that the marut room in PotP is) so healing spells will only be 50% effective.
In order to access the new module you have to turn in 25 specific pieces of raid loot so items like the Nullcloth Gown will have purpose. Don't worry though the Abbott is still to concerned about becoming a god that you won't have to venture into it. (because we till haven't fixed the damn thing)

Oh gods, if they ever did that, I just might quit the game. Unless of course it was only in very certain instances, and they gave rogues the ability to bypass, or reduce Fortification.

Rogues rejoice!! The wrack construct ability will be able to bypass the fortification on red & purple named mobs. In order to compinsate for this huge rogue love we've doubled the enhancement cost of them. Enjoy!!

Feeling pessimistic today Shyv? :)

Nahhh!! Just being funny. :hm:
I've been away from the game for a week or so on a mini break and popped back on last night to see what was up and unfortunatly the answer was notta.
A lot of AtD have taken breaks as well for RL stuff such as moving or just tired of the current grind of DDO and are checking out other games. So it's a lot of pugsville and I'm not likeing what I'm seeing, and/or I just don't have the tolerance level for all of the assclowns I seem to get stuck with pugging.
So on that note all of you must add me to your friends list (or at least take me off your blacklist. :lolhit: ) And look for me I should be on have lots of characters that are more or less raid ready and up for whatever.
This goes extra if anyone is running characters in the lvl 10 range. My WF Barb who I realy like has stalled out hardcore.
Not pessimistic at all Coldin. Just not overly impressed with all of the new stuff in this mod. It is truly my belief that with the introduction of a new class should have come a new race. Even something simple like Duergar which are already in the game and could share a lot of the dwarven enhancements. This would at least have given all of those monks someone to play with that wasn't a monk. :drunks:

I haven't created the chat channel yet, but anyone can do that. This way you can get in touch with anyone from GSI, or House T, if you need to find a group.

I was going to express my feelings in a more concise manner reiterating my displeasure with the way Turbine is defining fun for us, but I won't. Nobody cares, nobody can do anything about it, it's not going to change and I'm really quite enraged that they yet continue to do this.
I think I'll reactivate my City of Heroes/Villains account and go back there. It's more fun to be a superhero anyway.

Didi anyone notice this one?
The Wall of Fire spell now functions in a manner consistent with other lingering area of effect spells – an error has been fixed that caused multiple walls to stack within a single area.
Yikes!!!! Nothing like having to bring more DPS to the Reaver.

You know Lily, its funny I installed COH/V on my system long before I played DDO, but without enough mem to play properly. I have been looking at the box long and hard lately. I know my system could run it now.
Course its the folks that I play with that keep the game fun, so I think for now I will just stare at the box.

LOL Just bring casters who know to get a charge just before #9 who can get flight and nuke him with SR/PR/gasp one decent wall of fire. And who can haste the melees who have been napping.
I like the change to be honest.
I like the change to be honest.
So do I. IF they bring some of the Mobs HP inline accordingly. The Eladrin at the end of Running with the Devils comes to mind.
