Fellow House T folks,

I know only a few of you know me anyways so it's not all that relevant hence I'll try and keep this short. Basically due to personal reasons I will be leaving the game (haven't really been on for the past 3 weeks). I really love the game but I also happen to have an insanely addictive personality and when I play I don't really feel like doing anything else. To all of those who have enriched my DDO experience, thank you and know that you will be remembered. Special thanks to Kyrian, Steeltoe, and Vic for being people I consider to be true friends who were always there and I could sense really enjoyed playing with me, best to you guys and your families. I hope you guys know that such sentiment was reciprocate. And thanks for the people hosting and working on this site, this was an awesome community. You will all be missed, but it is time for me to move on. Happy hunting to all who stay!

Sincerely,
Eddie

Sorry to hear that, I know how addictive it can be, I own up to mine free and clear. Though with a future job change, Ill likely have to address it lol. Anyways, good luck and hopefully you can find something more productive as far as real life to focus your energy with.

Goodbye my friend. While the selfish part of me hopes you are not gone for good, the friend in me is happy to see you taking a positve step. I hope that things work out well for you. Please stay in touch via house T at least once in a while.

Yeah, it sucks to leave DDO, lots of fun, but I still remember ya ;). I too had an addiction to this game, though when I came back to play this game again in Feburary, for the Welcome Back Weekend, I didn't have fun, but my memories of the game still makes me think that the game is amazing, totally sucks :/

Over time I've learned to manage my addictions somewhat. I just played Sins of a Solar Empire until 4am this weekend. But at least I knew the only thing I was doing the next day was sleep in and then do some gardening.

The good/bad thing about me is I burn out on games quicker and quicker these days. I have already quit the game I played after DDO and I'm actually trying desperately to take it easy on Conan, just because I'm tired of burning out :p

Gonna miss you, buddy. It has been a lot of fun playing with you.

I think I understand what you're going through, all too well. Good luck my friend.
