I want to than the person who posted the crafting helper. I like it. I was thinking going Positive energy (holy); pos energy (good burst) and then the third teir is kind of hmmmm. It seems if I stay in pos for the third teir, I get greater disruption. If I venture into any thing else neg, water, air, etc, I get nothing. So I could take pos energy (+2 con) or pos energy (good blast again, I am not sure that will do anything for me) or Pos energy (heighten awareness 4). Advice Please.
I understand this bow should be great against the Pit fiend, but what about the rest of the game.
The other items I want to make are rapiers. I am still playing around with those, but I will take avice on them to. Thanks for the imput.:hug:

The triple Pos bow is pretty damned nice, all around. For your third Tier, I would recommend the Good Blast route for the nice DPS when you crit...we're talking serious damage there. Not to mention the ownage of all undead with that Greater Disruption going. :)
Unless you're an AC specced ranger, the additional AC 4 won't help you in the grand scheme of the end game content, I'm afraid. Much of the nastiness that you'll encounter in the Subterrane, The Hound, and VoD require a 55 AC or higher to REALLY be effective (although a 50 AC is still pretty damned respectable for a ranged build).
Your third option is the way to go, if you're not looking to do so much damage that every mob in the game is running at you. A stackable +2 Con and the HP that go with it...not bad at all, in lieu of the DPS.
The only downside to this bow will be it's ineffectiveness (overall) vs most animals and other Neutral or Good mobs in the game. When you're done with this bow, I'd recommend a Tier 3 Earth or (even better) a Mineral II bow...provided you have the time to nail down all of the ingrediants you need. It's a long road...My main doesn't have a Tier 3 anything, yet. :(
I agree with just about everything Jundak said with one exception.
I wouldn't bother with a Mineral 2 bow for the transmuting. The biggest thing you need transmuting for right now is devils and demons. With the availability of quivers with cold iron/silver arrows and bolts any bow crafted with positive in it will bypass their DR.
Don't get me wrong, transmuting rocks. But when it comes to bows and repeaters I think the large ingrediants are better spent elsewhere.

Yeah...have to agree with ya Shyv. I keep forgetting about the House D arrows/bolts that come with the favor grind. Don't have a ranged build at all...
Then go with a Tier 3 Earth bow...it won't do as much damage as your Pos 3 bow, but it will tear through anything that your Pos 3 bow won't damage. Very little is immune to acid in the game...and anything that is immune to acid is evil! :D

If you go straight pos, this is what you get:
Holy
Good Burst
Good Blast
Aspect of Positive Energy: True Resurrection (1/rest)
Greater Disruption: Occasionally will destroy enemy undead totally on hit
straight earth:
Acid
Acid Burst
Acid Blast
Aspect of Earth: Summon Dense Stone Earth Elemental (2/rest)
Earth Grab: Occasionally summons the power of earth to hold an enemy in place
I think the pos is the way to go with a bow...as Shyv and Jun said, all you have to do is head over to house D to get the arrows you want. The true res is a nice side benefit..really up to you though. Whichever you would enjoy more!
