I want to apologize to the House Tharashk community for pretty much starting the whole argument in our first ever closed thread. I'm ashamed of my words and my actions.

I'm leaving Stormreach and the House T boards, folks. I might be back someday, but it won't be for an extreme amount of time. So no character deletions...just in case I do decide to come back.

It's been a blast and a helluva ride. Good luck in Stormreach and remember to pray hard to the loot Gods.

For you to leave, Jundak, now that would be a shame.

Bah, take a break if you need one, but don't leave because of things like what transpired.

For the first time ever, I'm going to have to agree with Shyv on this one.

It all got miscronstrued, blown out of proportion, etc...

Some people became upset, others laughed, all in all, it's not the end of the world.

What ever happens between Jun, Shy, Min, Bunk and the rest of us in this game is just a game and whether we all are friends or not afterwards really doesn't matter to most people.

We all have had much support and shows of backing and friends from all over the place, some of which are friends of all of ours.

I'm sorry that all had to be aired out for everyone, as it was really silly.

You have some great friends and teammates on this server Jundak, and it would be a shame to see you leave because of some silly shite that everyone has pretty much forgotten... well... maybe I'll take a couple more days.

:)

Anyways... whatever you chose to do... make it a good one and know that there are probably a lot of people that would miss ya.

So I may not be a fastfood junkie, but I like a Big Mac now and again. Some flunky puts mustard on it and I get all out of wack. I write off McyDees all together. But here as I type this, I'm washing down the last of the fries with my Chocolate Shake. Ronald McDonald, I will never leave you completely.

Absolutes are no way to live, but breaks sometimes clean the head and are never bad.

Jun.....see you in StormReach.

I appreciate the sentiments. Everyone.

The fact is this: I'm angered beyond the point of redemption right now. I would be very lousy company, for certain. Like Ministry, I don't forgive or forget easily.

So, yeah. It's break time. I'm overly worked up about absolute nonsense. Like I said earlier, there's no character deletions or distribution of goods. It's simply time for me to put away the sword for a good while and sit in front of the proverbial fire.

The last thing I want, folks, is to take out my frustrations and irritations on those around me...and I've been known to do that on several occasions.

I'll be lurking House T...can't seem to stay away for very long, as it turns out. DDO is a bust, though, until I can clear my head.

My great-grandfather used to say, "There are only two things in this world that can't be taken back: taking someone's life and giving someone life."

My friend, please reconsider - when you are ready.

Man I don't see how people think that was such a huge argument...you should see the stuff that goes by in console gaming and console forums :D. This is no reason to give up DDO, unless you want to come play with me on the PS3 and finally hear me *moves brows up and down*. Sure you say you have other reasons, I guess it might've just tipped you over the ice berg. But I have a feeling it has more to do with the thread.

Jun, I for one would hate to see you go, have enjoyed your posts.

Take a couple of days off if you feel that angry, but think about what is making you angry. Is it really so important that you should be livid? I learned a long long time ago in a land far far away (pun intended) that 90-95% of the things I was getting pissed at were not worthy of being pissed off about. Life is too short to not pick and choose your battles carefully.

By this motto of 'choose your battles' I don't mean 'don't speak your mind'...obviously those of you reading this know I can have a blunt and sometimes harsh demeanor...but in the years I've been playing DDO I've been truly pissed off in game twice...so most of you have never seen me pissed. So I'm definitely an advocate for speaking your mind. Just choose which topics are going to affect you that deeply.

Hope to see you in Stormreach.

Enjoy your break, Jun. Raise some hell out there.

It's a good rule - if you're staring at the login screen and you aren't excited.. well..

I always say I'll quit DDO till the urge comes back to play.. longest voluntary break so far - two days...

Shyv

Overall I think breaks are great. I've taken several myself. Longest was about a month and a half when I was moving across the state....that was a LONG month and a half. :D Others have been like 7-10 days, just enough to recharge the drive to loot. Can only run so many raids before they start to get monotonous.

And as for monotomy don't get me started on the damned Mummifed Bat. I've run CO6 7 times in 3 days and haven't gotten one.

But really Jun, take a week or take two. And we'll all see you back here after that.

PS: I'd actually be excited to run Pants through there again, keep me in mind. :)

Depending on Pants level you might not get any XP. I usualy just solo through it on my rogue unless someone wants to come along. Managed to put together the Bloodstone/Bottle of Air/Mummified Bat trinket combo. Just need the bat. :o

But yeah next time I run it, I'll put it up in the HouseT channel.

He's level 9* - so, hmm.. let me see if Alfred needs the favor. Still 200+ points from 1750.

Just wanted to put my two cents in....I hope that youll give it some time...take a breather..then come back. I for one will miss you and was looking forward to getting to play with and know you better. I think better musically, so this one seems appropo (sp?), just go with the spirit of the song, not so literal. It's meant to inspire you, remind you of who you are, and yeah the shit flies sometimes, but dont let it stick. I especially like the line about preferring it the easy way.

Anyhow, hope to see you in a few.

"Joyful Girl"

i do it for the joy it brings
because i'm a joyful girl
because the world owes me nothing
and we owe each other the world
i do it because it's the least i can do
i do it because i learned it from you
i do it just because i want to
because I want to

everything i do is judged
and they mostly get it wrong
but oh well
'cuz the bathroom mirror has not budged
and the woman who lives there can tell
the truth from the stuff that they say
and she looks me in the eye
and says would you prefer the easy way?
no, well o.k. then
don't cry

and i wonder if everything i do
i do instead
of something i want to do more
the question fills my head
i know that there's no grand plan here
this is just the way it goes
and when everything else seems unclear
i guess at least i know

i do it for the joy it brings...

If you want to hear the song, here is a link to a youtube video...ignore the video (its completely unrelated) just liten to the song.

Jun please come back you introduced me to the board. I will hate to see you go and will miss you. Take a breath, run a lap, drink a beer and sleep under the stars and moon on a cool summer night. Do what ever it takes to refresh yourself and calm your soul. Cuz I got more gaming to do with you and do not want to miss out. See ya in Stormreach.

Really tho Jun,

You are mad cool peeps, chill if ya need to and come back ready to kick some arse. And just know you can call me an azzhole anytime (note: azzhole and azzhat are two different things. The azzhole can be a jerk and yell at morons when needed where as the azzhat is a crown I have worn once or twice where you are the moron getting yelled at :p).

~wakes up and realizes few will get the sentiment of her thoughts that are written/expressed just prior to falling asleep, as they usually arent the most logical~

Basically Jun, what I was trying to say is that things can get overheated and over emotional here, and in game. That's obvious. We get emotionally involved as the majority of folks here have invested 2 +/- years in this game, and spend lord knows how many hours each day in game. Bonds form that are tight, that to folks who dont play as much seem incomprehensible.

When things get to the point that it has, take that breather and use it to reflect and decide is this enough to make me walk away? I know you're not going to compromise yourself in any way shape or form, I'm just saying look at this when you've got more of a clear head (:P) and decide what this is really worth. Is is a make or breaker?

The song I sent was more to reflect the emotional situation that can develop which makes you sometimes want to just give up and walk away, but you know deep inside that is not like you, and no it's not easy, (it never is, is it?), but you come back and deal with it, as you know you believe in yourself and your ideals/values/etc. Don't lose sight of that .:winkiss:

Hopefully, I expressed that a bit better, Im stil waking up here.

Jun,

/disagree with your decision

do as I'm doing: when tired of game, I goes to bar. When the bar close the door, I move to game back.

Return soon, bro.

But Brae...we epitomize those titles SO well....How bout an idiotic moron...OR a moronic idiot?:axe:

Hey Jun...you know I love ya like the brother from another mother (just like a few others of my bros..) and gaming with you is too much fun. Come back online for tonight and catch up with me in game and let me describe what just happened to me and I can guarantee that will put this drama crap into perspective as my RL just got thrown one of the biggest curveballs EVER. What I really need is my friends to keep me sane right now before I go off the deep end and you are part of that sanity (WOW did I just say that....)

If we talk and you still decide on your "break/hiatus" then maybe we can catch a few beers one of these days and drink over our sorrows (I have a car and can drive REAL fast...)

Talk to you soon.
