Time to switch out a feat on my rogue, and I've got two main possibilities: power attack or combat expertise.

The power attack would be mainly for help getting through dr so the wounding part of my w/p shortsword will work. Does anyone happen to know the dr on things like elder/ancient elementals, devils, orthons, etc? With power attack, I should be at +12 for damage. Is that enough? I think I'd still be ok on to-hit, but I'll have to pay more attention to my rolls and how often I'm missing.

With combat expertise and a shield, I could self-buff up to 50 ac easily, and hit 55+ with a friendly ranger and paladin. I almost always twf, but it might be useful in some situations to be less squishy. Doesn't seem as useful as PA, but if that won't get me past DR, this would still be worthwhile.

Any thoughts on these, or any feat suggestions that I haven't thought of, are welcome. Currently running with ITWF, GTWF, IC: pierce, weapon finesse, and SF: UMD.

since youre using a w/p it will be easier to just wait for crits to break somethings DR rather than use PA. In both cases youll lose a decent to-hit but when I had PA I found it wasnt very useful since I always forgot to turn it on when I would fight the one mob it might help with. CE is much more universally effective as it gives you a solid AC boost that can help everywhere

Warchantress had to have it for Warchanting enhancement. It effected her to hit to much at lower levels, but once she got past say lvl 8 ish (iirc) I turned it back on and I think that it does help. She just has to stay away from things like ogres etc which have those one shot hits.
