I don't know what changed with mod eight, but now whenever i get a group of mobs together...more than say five...i'm locked up almost completely and the more effects that are going on, the worse it is. I will probably only now be on to tool around soloing or something on a lowbie until they change whatever they did...either that or i will be biding my time until Champions Online comes out. did you check the known issues in the release notes? sounds like a driver/graphics card issue

Do you have DX 10 graphics enabled? Did you try turning all your settings down to very low?

I wouldn't give up right away. Try talking with the Service people over on the forums first and see if they can do anything.

I refuse to upgrade my computer just to play this game....2 years ago maybe, but this game just isn't worth it anymore. The quality of the game has been on a steady decline over the last 12 months especially and this latest mod is the little white spec on top of the pile of chickenshit....unfortunately that little white speck is chickenshit too.

NPE...enjoyable, but with no market push to advertise it...what was the point
Hirelings...supposedly what delayed the mod so long still isn't working, isn't included, still have no forcast for any of them except the redundant "soon"
4 new quests...none that are very long or complex or that challenging once you go in a couple times
"crafted armor" that isn't especially wonderful...just lets you consolidate some slots down so you can try to fit even more stuff in.

No, the performance issue for me is more of the straw that finally broke the camels back. For now i'm just going to step away to another game...probably CoH/CoV. Though every time i have stepped away from a game I rarely return. I have already returned to this game once...I don't see it happening again.
